OLD-AGE PENSION SCHEME
The Government of Himachal Pradesh, with the Old Age Pension Scheme, aims toward catering financial aid to the elderly population of the state and making them self-sufficient. This scheme will help the strata of the elderly population of the state, which is poor and wants assistance. Under the scheme, the eligible will get financial aid from Rs 750 to a maximum of Rs 1300 every month.
How To Apply for Old Age Pension Scheme –

- Download the application form from the website and fill out the form with the necessary details.
- The applicants of the age bracket of 60 to 70yrs have to submit the form to their tehsil/panchayat officer.
- Elderly above the age of 70 have to submit their form to the welfare officer of their tehsil only.
Eligibility for Application for Old Age Pension Scheme –
- The applicant has to be a permanent occupant of HP.
- The yearly income of the elderly who wants to avail of the benefits should not exceed Rs35000.
- The applicant should be recommended for the scheme by their gram panchayat. Also, the applicant must not be younger than 60 years of age.

HP DEV BHOOMI DARSHAN YOJANAA
The Himachal Pradesh Dev Bhoomi Darshan Yojana was launched by the Himachal Pradesh Government in 2023. This scheme aims to provide the senior citizens of Himachal with aid and assistance in traveling to holy places and pilgrimage sites in Himachal Pradesh. Under the scheme, senior citizens are provided with concessions in bus fares, boarding, and lodging facilities by the HPTDC when traveling to holy places and pilgrimages in Himachal.

- Fill out the online registration form.
- Attach the necessary documents.
- Submit the form.
Eligibility for Application for Dev Bhoomi Darshan Yojana –
- The applicant has to be a permanent occupant of Himachal Pradesh.
- The yearly income of the beneficiary must be under Rs 100000.
- The applicant mustn’t be younger than 70.
- The applicants can avail of the benefits once every 3 years.
- Applicants that fall in the age group of 70 -80 years are eligible for a 50 percent concession in their travel package.
- Applicants older than 80 years of age are eligible for a 100% concession on their travel package. An attendant that will be traveling with a senior citizen older than 80 years of age will also be eligible for a 50 percent concession on his/her travel package.
